Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Gunfighter OS application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Gunfighter OS is a shooting range training application that provides structured range protocols, manual shot logging, ML-powered performance analytics, skill assessments, and session tracking. It is designed for concealed carry (CCW) permit holders, duty carry personnel, and tactical shooters. Gunfighter OS is intended to be used alongside a shot timer — it does not replace a shot timer or provide automatic shot detection.

3. Alpha Program

Gunfighter OS is currently in private alpha. During the alpha period:

• The Service may contain bugs, errors, or incomplete features
• Features may be added, modified, or removed without notice
• Data collected during alpha may be reset if necessary (we will provide advance notice)
• Alpha testers receive free access to all features
• We appreciate and may solicit your feedback to improve the product

4. Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You may delete your account at any time from Settings.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

5.1 Plans

Gunfighter OS may offer free and paid subscription tiers. During the alpha period, all features are available at no cost. Pricing for the public release will be announced separately.

5.2 Billing

When paid subscriptions become available, they will be billed through Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

5.3 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by the respective app store according to their refund policies. For issues not resolved by the store, contact us directly.

6. Firearms Safety Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: Please read this section carefully.

Gunfighter OS provides shooting range training protocols and performance tracking for informational and educational purposes only. The Service is not a substitute for professional firearms instruction, safety training, or legal advice regarding the use, carry, or storage of firearms.

• You are solely responsible for the safe handling and use of your firearms at all times. Gunfighter OS is not responsible for any injuries, damages, or incidents that occur during your training.
• Always follow the four fundamental rules of firearm safety and all range rules and regulations.
• ML-powered analytics and performance metrics are statistical tools based on your logged data — they are not professional instruction or safety guidance.
• Ensure you are legally permitted to possess and use firearms in your jurisdiction before using this Service.
• Gunfighter OS does not provide legal advice regarding concealed carry, use of force, or self-defense laws.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Distribute, share, or resell your account or subscription access
• Submit false or misleading bug reports or feedback
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service (including training protocols, drill libraries, UI design, logos, and code) are owned by Tactiv Labs and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

9. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through Settings > Account > Delete Account. Upon deletion:

• All your personal data, training history, and settings will be permanently deleted
• Active subscriptions should be canceled through your app store before deleting your account
• This action is irreversible
• Local data on your device will be cleared immediately

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TACTIV LABS AND GUNFIGHTER OS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, PERSONAL INJURY, OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive (including liability, intellectual property, and dispute resolution).

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with the new Terms, you should discontinue use and delete your account.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.
